师长感言

何家珍（怡保深斋中学）

人们常说，教育工作是天底下最光辉的事业，教师要向学生传授知

识，进而传承文化思想，为下一代引导他们的未来，进而开创打造人
类社会的前景。因此，我希望正从事教育工作的年轻老师们，千万不

要以“过去的知识来教授现在的学生”去面对“未来的社会”。否

则，那就是一件很悲哀的事了！

作为教师，我们必须与时并进，配合教育的转型，不断自我学习提
升，并把最新的知识传授给学生，让学生了解未来的趋势，并教育他

们如何面对未来的多方面挑战，这是我们身为教育工作者的职责。

Throughout the years of service, the greatest reward is seeing

the students worked hard and succeed in life. When educating
the minds of our students, we must not forget their hearts. In

fact, teachers who love teaching teach children to love learning.
We should never stop learning because life never stops teaching.

The years of interacting with the students and fellow working

colleagues had opened the door for me to learn and “polish”

my proficiency in Mandarin having been educated in a mission
school during my primary and secondary days.

The experience had given me a greater insight and a clear
perception about the running of the Chinese Independent

Schools education system.
